Principal Retires

The school management announces the retirement of the secondary school principal, Sir Charlie Ekebor KSJI, FCAI at the end of the 2020/2021 first term. Sir Ekebor joined the school as Principal in November 2016, at a time the school needed a seasoned and experienced hand to redirect the school on the path of excellence. On resumption, he formulated new policies guiding teachers, and was instrumental in sourcing and employing experienced teachers.

Sir Ekebor’s years at Ray Jacobs Boarding School have seen the school record many successes, most notably the school’s 100% record in the WAEC and NECO Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations every year since the school started sitting for the examinations. His leadership ensured the school recorded no crisis during his time, rather introduced a strong working relationship and ethics among staff in the school. “Pal” as he is fondly called by staff and students, has reigned over the school as a father with love for his children. He has a passion for excellence and ensuring order is maintained in the school.

The entire family of Ray Jacobs will surely miss him and wish him a happy retirement. Sir Ekebor will be replaced by Mr Albert Obiajuru starting at the end of the first term in December.
